School Day & Attendance

Attendance

All pupils must attend school if they are fit and well to do so in order to receive a full and enriching education. We push our pupils to attend 100% of the time. Parents and carers must be supportive of this.

Please refer to our Attendance Policy for more information.

  • The school day starts at 8.20am when pupils are welcomed into school.
  • On Monday-Thursday Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 finish at 2:50pm with Year 11 finishing at 3:50pm. On Fridays all year groups finish at 2.50pm.
  • This means that our school week amounts to 32.5 hours for Years 7 through to 10 and 36.5 for Year 11.
